Cannot Delete File Flat Vmdk


So I figured it out on my won...(Still waiting on a call from Vmware sadly). So I figured it out on my won...(Still waiting on a call from Vmware sadly). Cannot Delete Vmdk File From Datastore

Thanks David, for your detailed and honest evaluation! All the hosts have recently been rebooted as we just did a UCS firmware update. This command has to be executed from the SSH(Putty) of all the hosts having connectivity to that datastore. # vmkfstools -L release /vmfs/volumes///-flat.vmdk This can result in two error outputs:

  • I've only been in charge of a VMware environment for 3 months now.
  • Migrate off the VMs from the host and place it into maintenance mode and reboot it.
