mkdir com1/blahblahblah/ If you do "cd com1" , you can't enter it, but when you do a "cd com1/blahblahblah/" it works... Nothing above helped me. Contact the server's admin for details. Does a directory really need to be empty to be deleted? But for what it's worth, these folders are empty. There are no hidden files in these folders. http://inviewsoftware.com/cannot-delete/cannot-delete-file-file-system-error-1148.html But I just can't get it deleting on the host.
